Books Story books, Non fiction books(Business & Investing, Economics & Politics
Hobbies, Self-Help, Computers & Internet, etc. )
Children’s books, Cooking books, Comics(Manga), Travel Guide books
Others DVD (with the Board of Film Censors, Singapore sticker）
Music CD (It must be within 6 months of the date of the album’s release.)

<What You Cannot Sell to Us>

Books Books in any language other than English or Japanese,
School textbooks, Reference books, Technical books, magazines,
Not-for-sale item(e.g.company brochure), Encyclopedia,
School assessment books/practice examinations papers,
Pamphlets/Catalogues
Books with no barcode/ never hit the original price on the amazon of Google search,
Others Video games and software

* More than two same items cannot be sold to us.
* If requested, such items that could not bear any price will be donated through our Volunteer Donation Program (*1) or to be recycled as raw materials for good reasons.
*1 We donate those English books to a school of developing countries and remote regions. For the activity report, click here.


FAQ

What should I do when I want to sell?
Please bring the item to our store. No appointment is required. Bookmart, Member Point Card or self identification (passport page with picture), NRIC(National Registration Identity Card), EP(Employment Pass), DP(Dependent Pass) is required.
Why self identification document is required?
The national law requires us so to prevent stolen items and illegal items to be circulated in the market. We are kindly asking for your co-operation.
May I know the selling price in advance?
Unfortunately, we cannot tell exact selling price due to the condition of the book and stock volume at the time affect the pricing. We are pleased to inform you the price upon presentation of the book.
What kind of books is sold at higher price?
Usually, such items still new since publication and clean will bear good price. Please refer to our monthly Selling Campaign Information.
How much those valuable books will be?
We are sorry but the scarcity, popularity or completing all series titles may not be reflected for the pricing. The condition of each item, amount of time passed since publication and stock condition will affect the pricing. Please refer to our monthly Selling Campaign Information.
What happens for the item that did not bear any price?
The customer may bring back, or you may donate books to a school in developing countries and through our Volunteer Donation Program. (For the activity report, click here.)
Can I sell those items I purchased at another second-hand shop or at Bookmart?
Yes, of course. We buy back both new and second-hand upon evaluation with our company’s buyback standards.
May I sell books if I am younger than 18 years old?
Yes, Of Course. in such case please bring a consent with signature by your parents or parental guardians.
May I request home pickup services for items we wish to donate?
We are sorry but we reserve the home pickup service for items that we can evaluate, not just for donation purposes.
