Terms and Conditions of Membership

1.Member hereafter refer to an individual who agrees this Terms and Conditions of Membership and applied for the membership certificate ID (hereafter refer as “membership certificate”) of the services that our company (hereafter refer as “we”) and organizations of within / outside Singapore who join the program of our “BYRON WORLD TRADING PTE LIMITED” and intend to receive points and special services (hereafter referred as “points and special service”) that we and our partner companies (hereafter refer as “our partner company”) provides, and such membership application is admitted by us as well. A prospective member may apply for our services if fully agree to this Terms and Conditions of Membership and fill in all items required in the “Membership Application Form.”


2.For those who below 20 years old must present written consent of their parents or parental guardians.


3.Membership certificate is valid for 1 year since the membership date. However, if there is any changes in point value since the beginning of service date until the end of the expiry day, the membership duration will be automatically renewed, and such renewal system will continue for the following years. If there is any change in point value, then the membership is terminated and all points collected will be invalid and erased.


4.The term “change in point value” hereupon refer to earning new points in his / her account. The timing of points credited to your account may vary depending on partners. For details, please refer to our website.


5.Since membership certificate is only valid with own signature, we encourage our customer to put own signature upon receiving the card. Ownership of the card remains to our company all the time. Membership certificate is admitted to be used only by the person whose signature appears on the card. The card may not be rent or given or sold to others. The principle applies to own family and cannot be shared among family members. Please be noted, that any unregulated usage in this manual (including illegal usage) is subject to discharge from our membership service even the term of contract remains, and loses all credited points and other rights as a result.


6.If there should be any changes in individual information of the customer, please apply modification request through our website or at our shop. If such action is neglected, the membership will be terminated and forced to discharge as regulated in the Article 11 and previous article.


7.If the membership certificate is lost or stole, please report to us through our website or at our shop. If no report is made and any undesired damage caused to us or our partnership companies by the time the customer report to us and necessary counter action is taken, such indemnity will be charged to the customer. In case the membership certificate is lost or stolen, the new membership certificate will be issued with new ID number, and previous points will be lost.


8.We may temporary stop providing the service without notification to our customer in advance, in case of force majeure (act of providence, network downtime, etc.)


About Point Service

9.Our customer may earn various points credited and entitled to special treatments with this membership certificate, however there are certain products or services that are not applicable to this service. For details, please refer to our website or check at our shop.


Terminate, Membership Cancellation, Discharge

10.If you wish to cancel membership, please follow necessary steps through our website or at our shops.


11.If the member customer is applicable to any one of the items below, we and with our partnership companies will immediately terminate the membership certificate. Once such termination is executed, the information of the individual and credit history will be kept under us and our partnership companies.


In case: the customer’s individual information is false or incorrect, the membership certificate is passed to other individuals, any illegal usage is noticed on our website or services, any illegal activity is committed at or around our and our partner company’s shops, any undesired action or verbal assault is committed to other customers, any action or verbal assault intending to interfere our or our partner company’s operation, parents requested termination or cancellation of the service if the customer is under 20, infringed on any of the articles in this terms and conditions, or any action that we reckon as not suitable to our membership.


12.Once the membership is terminated, such individual may not use our and our partner company’s services whatsoever, however, if we judge the cause of termination is deemed as unreasonable then necessary steps may be taken to resume membership certificate.


About Individual Information Handling of Our Member

13.Our company at most appropriate security measurement will retain individual customer’s personal information (hereafter refer as “Individual Information”) and E-Mail address as per stated in the application form and collect service usage history at our partner company’s shops, and kindly asks for our customer’s consent on using for each purposes stated below. If the customer does not agree to fill in all items in the “Membership Application Form” or the contents stated in this terms and conditions, we may decline membership service entry or terminate our services.


(Applicable Usage: ) To analyze life style of our members, (Limit of Information Sharing: ) Our company and our partner companies, (Shared Individual Information: ) Items written in “Membership Application Form”, Usage record at our and our partner company’s, Termination or Cancellation status of the membership certificate and any records of infringement on Article 11 of this terms and condition, Points credited and how it is used, (Purpose of Use: ) To provide business information and other relevant information that our company esteem as appropriate by means of E-mail and other communication methods. The responsible body of storing the individual information is our company.


14.We may change or terminate the criteria of membership and service contents with us and our partner company’s reason without previous notice. Please check at our website accordingly.


15.Our or our partner company’s information may be delivered to the customer who processed the change, addition in individual information, termination or cancellation of the service, until such alteration is reflected on our information system.


16.Regarding individual information storage and processing, we are entitled to outsource our operation either entirely or partially to other organizations. In selecting outsourcing partner, we select only the company satisfying our standard criteria and make sure of proper handling and administration.

17.Usage condition of points and each special service may vary depending on the conditions of our partner companies. For details, please refer to each partner’s website and shops. Details of service usage may change without notice in advance. And the acknowledgement to such alteration by our customer is observed upon after usage of membership services by each member.


18.If any judicial action is required based on this terms and conditions, such claim will be submitted, depending on the claim charge amount, to the minor court or provincial court at the subjected company’s headquarter, branch, sales offices’ address as mutually agreed court of competent jurisdiction


19.Membership Terms and Conditions may be modified without notice in advance. For the latest Terms and Conditions, please refer to our website.
